We do not issue NY City Reservoir Permits. Due to September 11th 2001, a new permit process is in effect. All permits issued prior to January 1, 2002 are no longer valid. A NY State fishing license is required prior to obtaining a NY City reservoir free fishing permit.   Annual Trout Derby Winners     2002 Derby Winners Now Posted.

Yearly in July, Al's Sport Store sponsors an Annual Trout Derby for the three largest trout caught. Prizes are $500, $300, and $200 for the first three places.
