Reservoir fishing has been somewhat sporadic. Just starting to get some heavier fish this week. Most of the trout are between 30-35 ft deep. No time of the day has been better than any other.
Canoeing in the E. Branch has been good with a steady release of cold water coming from Pepacton. Fly fishing has been pretty steady with good hatches of sulphurs in the late afternoons. Most of the bait fishermen do best early morning or after sunset.
Hello there, I’m planning a trip in early to mid october up there and was wondering what the fishing is like during the time of year. There will be 3 of us and we will be fly fishing. Any recommendations you might have would be greatly appreciated.
